Why Failure In Business Is Ok As A Young Entrepreneur

In case you missed the Charlie Gasmire interview on Outta The Box TV a few weeks ago, here is a short snippet of us talking about why failure in business is ok as a young entrepreneur because success stories are not as what they always seem.

From doing all these successful young entrepreneur interviews, I have to agree with Charlie. These stories are definitely not what they seem. Even though I’ve interviewed 20 year olds who are running million dollar companies, if you listen closely to what they are saying, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows along the way. No. They’ve have to deal with failures, issues and situations where everything has gone against them. But they’ve managed to push past it all and come out with some success.

I think everyone goes through this, not just in business, but in life. Realising that failure is ok and picking yourself up and ‘failing forward’ seems to be the key to the ones who make it in business and also live the lives they want.  You’ve got to go through it to get to it. It just depends how much resilience and stamina you have. But it’s a nice feeling knowing that all the top business people have had to go throw this as well.

Anyway, check out the video below and let me know your thoughts on what Charlie is saying about failure in business being ok.
