Honest advice on becoming a young entrepreneur – with Peter Solway
You may have seen in the last few Outta The Box TV episode that I interviewed a young guy by the name of Peter Solway who talked a lot about the process & events in life he went through that led him towards becoming a young entrepreneur. He’s a great guy, businessmen and is based in Australia, growing businesses ever since the age of 17.
In this short clip, Peter shares his thoughts on becoming a young entrepreneur. I like what he shares as he basically tells the truth and says it how it is.“…If your not sure if you want to be an entrepreneur, try it. if you don’t like it, don’t do it. At least you gave it a go and it’s better knowing it wasn’t for you than thinking ‘what if‘ for the rest of your life…”
And it's those 'what if's' in life that can really play in the back of your mind for a long time. As you may already know, at 18 I went to college in the states to play golf. Just before I left I was very reluctant to go as it was something knew & different. However, If I never went, I would have missed out on a whole lot. Life experience, friendships, & plenty more.
Sometimes it can be great to jump in and try something new. If you don't like it, or fail, who cares? But if you love it, and even become successful, then that's awesome. Personally, I hope I never stop changing businesses, careers etc and having fun!
Anyway, check out the clip below & let me know what you think to it in the comments. Do you agree with his advice?
